The Pink Room - How to solve every puzzle

The Pink Room is not meant to be a difficult puzzle game, so I recommend trying things out for yourself for a bit. If you really are stuck, here are the solutions to every puzzle, as well as how to get an easter egg 🥚

When I talk about "MC", I'm referring to the main character.

Puzzle 1

Click on the poster above the laptop. It gives you a hint as to where to start. The letters spell the word "tile", so you should look for one that's interactive (left side of the room). When you click on it, MC should say:
"Hmm?"
"One of these tiles is loose..."
Click on the interactive tile (about top-left) to reveal the lighter.

Puzzle 2

Use the lighter on the candle with the scissors to get them.

Puzzle 3

Use the scissors on the teddy bear with the heart on its belly to get a piece of paper with "IV XII" written on it.

Puzzle 4

"IV XII" means 4 - 12 in roman numerals. Click on the clock, set the hours to 4 and the minutes to 12. This gives you a small key.

Puzzle 5

Use the small key to open the top drawer. This reveals a pink metal box. After MC says:
"Sigh... Whatever."
"For now let's just get it out of here. I'll figure something out..."
exit the scene. The box should now appear on top of the drawer, where you can interact with it.

Puzzle 6

Click on the box. The poem gives you a hint as to what you should input in the padlock.
By using the poster above the laptop, you should be able to associate each letter of the word "you" with a number.
The correct solution is 4 - 0 - 9.

Puzzle 7

After finding out that the gun is fake, you can pull the trigger, revealing a rebus (you can't read the piece of paper inside the box after you pull the trigger).
The rebus tells you where you should go next. The solution is "second" "bookshelf" "secret".

Puzzle 8

Go to the second bookshelf, where you are now able to move the statues around.
You should try "reuniting" each category of statue together: first the gnomes, then the clowns, then the fairies, and lastly the cherubs.
You'll find a password behind the cherub at the bottom shelf.

Puzzle 9

Use the password to access the laptop.
It won't work unless you spell it exactly "WonderfulLittlePassword!"

Puzzle 10

Print the strange piece of paper, take it, and bring it to the bottom drawer, where you can click on page 1.
Together, they reaveal a familiar symbol.

Puzzle 11

Go to the second bookshelf and click on the book with the symbol on its spine. Take the piece of paper that falls out of it.
It reads "How many of each? 2 - 9 - 5 (For locker)".
Click on the poster above the laptop and count how many 2s, 9s and 5s there are.
The correct solution for the locker is "3 - 3 - 2".

Puzzle 12

Pop the balloons and click on the coins to get them all. You now have 2.55. You can decide how to use that money by getting something from the vending machine.
You can afford a bottle of water, or the mistery glass bottle. You'll get an ending depending on your choice.

EDIT: Unfortunately I have been told that sometimes this part of the game is bugged, and that after taking the coins, the game reverts back to the locker being closed.
No matter what I try, I can't replicate this bug for the life of me, so I'm unable to fix it.
It seems that replaying the game fixes it. If you don't want to go through the whole thing a second time, you can read the easter egg section below and finish it that way.

If by chance you encounter this bug AND are a Renpy user, I would be really grateful if you could look at the variable viewer (shift + D) and send me a screenshot, so I can figure out what's wrong.

Sorry about this!

Easter egg

To get this easter egg, you can skip most of the puzzles by either using the locker combination or the password for the laptop (this makes the most sense during a repeat playthrough).
After answering the question "Do you hold forbidden knowledge from the future?", you can go to the mirror and look at your new appearence.
